Last month we visited Stena Line at their Birkenhead terminal near Liverpool to take a look at their freight facilities at the port and what's provided to truck drivers on-board their ferries.

Stena Line are one of the biggest ferry operators in the world providing over 20 services connecting nine countries across the Irish Sea, North Sea, Baltic Sea and Scandinavia including accompanied (and unaccompanied) freight vehicles, with 38 ships and around 6,000 employees.

On the Liverpool to Belfast route on-board the MS Stena Mersey, truck drivers are provided with a wide range of quality services including berths in cabins, free meals and a HGV driver lounge. They can also take advantage of all of the passenger facilities that are on offer including a cinema, shops and other restaurants.
